In a move that signifies additional growth to an already fast-rising business, today Detroit-headquartered information technology staffing & solutions firm VisionIT, Inc., named Christine Rice as president – the first woman and second person to hold the firm’s title in its 10-year existence.
“This year is a milestone year for VisionIT in more ways than one,” said David H. Segura, CEO of VisionIT. “In our tenth year of business we have grown tremendously and Christine has played a significant role in that growth. She has more than exemplified the dedication and operational ingenuity required to serve as our president and we are extremely blessed to have her as part of our executive team.”
As president, Christine will oversee all operations including vendor management, human resources and recruitment operations focused on improving processes and identifying and recruiting the best information technology talent nationally.
Joining VisionIT in 1998, Christine previously served as vice president of operations helping to build its recruitment team from the ground up, while implementing innovative procedures that helped the firm become an award-winning supplier to several Fortune 100 companies. Christine also has more than 20 years of experience in the human resource and staffing industry working with companies such as EDS.
