David Segura shared VisionIT’s fast growth story and his perspective on the future of Hispanic business in the United States with those who were in attendance at the “Make the Connection! Hispanic Business Expo” today hosted by the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) at Chicago’s Navy Pier.
“Hispanic businesses are continuing to evolve and grow stronger every day…even leading their industries with innovation and solutions,” Segura told the group. “We are showing that Hispanic business means big business.” He went on to credit the IHCC for being “at the forefront of diversity business initiatives, positioning visionary Hispanic businesses…”
After Segura’s speech Illinois Governor Pat Quinn referenced VisionIT several times during his remarks and commented on how he appreciated everything they have been doing to invest and grow their business in his state.

He understands the importance of being engaged in the communities where he does business which is why he is not only an active member of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, but also the Chicago Minority Business Development Agency

The “Make the Connection! Hispanic Business Expo” is a one-day event that exposes existing Hispanic Businesses to decision-makers in the public and private sector. Those in attendance also took part in educational workshops geared at helping build and expand business capacity.
