VisionIT President Christine Rice participated as a distinguished panelist at the Ford African Ancestry Network of Young Professionals event held on December 8, 2010 at Ford Motor Company headquarters. The fall 2010 Business Acumen Speaker Series focused on the leadership that we have seen emerge from companies in the past few years.
The series “Intrapreneurship: Leadership in Difficult Times” brought together Christine Rice, President of VisionIT, Ed Boyd, SVP & Director of UniWorld Group, Mark Douglas, President of Avis Ford and Michael Guthrie, President & CEO of Spectra LLC & Detroit Chassis.
“VisionIT has a strong history in Detroit, and due to our significant growth and leadership in the community, it gives me the opportunity to share our story with such an outstanding group of leaders” said Rice. “Ford Motor Company has shown that they have the leadership abilities to weather many economic turns and I am honored that VisionIT is included in such a strong panelist group.”
The Ford African Ancestry Network of Young Professionals mission is to promote an environment within Ford Motor Company which recognizes the value of diversity and attracts, develops and retains African-Ancestry employees to the fulfillment of company objectives.
