VisionIT climbed five spots on this year’s Crain’s Detroit Business largest “Information Technology Companies” list to secure its leading position in the Top 5.
Revenues for VisionIT more than doubled, from $101 in 2009 to $230 million in 2010, largely as a result of expanded contracts with existing and new Fortune 500 clients, including Pfizer, HP and Capital One, and growth in its international operations, including Mexico.
“VisionIT has been dedicated to smart growth – both diversifying services and our geographic footprint – to meet the increasing need for information technology by companies across the globe,” said VisionIT CEO David Segura. “Seeing our company continue to rise on this prestigious list is an accomplishment for every team member a part of VisionIT.”
Crain’s Detroit Business’ largest “Information Technology Companies” list recognizes businesses from Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties that research, design, manufacture or invent equipment or software, in addition to companies that provide sophisticated computer services such as systems design, programming and information retrieval.
