VisionIT President Christine Rice was selected as a judge and award presenter for the Multicultural Media Luncheon held during the North American International Auto Show Press Week in Detroit.
Themed “Strategic Partnerships,” the event attracts a diverse audience of automotive industry, entrepreneurial and other business professionals to recognize minorities for their global impact in the automotive industry.
Rice presented the Multicultural Marketing and Communications Award, recognizing an individual for a marketing, brand or promotional campaign that appealed to the global urban marketplace. Other awards presented during the event were: Multicultural TV Commercial of the Year, Visionary Award for Design & Engineering, Global Community Award and Lifetime Achievement Award. Kimora Lee Simmons, American fashion model and current president and creative director for JustFab served as the keynote speaker for the event.
The Multicultural Media Luncheon was created by Cheryl Parks Ajamu, founder and CEO of The Ajamu Group, LLC. This marks the event’s third year.
