VISIONIT RANKS AMONG NATION’S 100 LARGEST HISPANIC-OWNED COMPANIES
Marks the 12th consecutive year VisionIT has earned this distinction
Detroit, MI – June 27, 2014 – VisionIT, a global leader in mobility solutions, IT managed services and talent management, today announced its ranking among the nation’s 100 largest Hispanic-owned businesses by Latino-business publication’s Hispanic Business 100 list. This achievement marks the 12th consecutive year VisionIT has been included in the list, ranking as the 34th largest U.S. Hispanic-owned company this year.
“Being recognized as one of the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned businesses for 12 years is particularly gratifying because it reflects our staying power as a leading IT innovator in an ever-changing technology industry,” said David Segura, founder and CEO of VisionIT. “Our talented staff and valued executive team has worked hard to attain our position by making remarkable strides in operational growth, market expansion, and by pioneering leading-edge technologies such as, our latest mobility solution MobileForce.”
Over the years, VisionIT has furthered the career of thousands of IT professionals, expanded its office network in the U.S. and globally, and helped accelerate the pace of innovation and corporate success for 75 of the Fortune 500 companies. The company shook up the mobility industry by introducing MobileForce, a platform that unifies enterprise applications, allowing organizations to better engage customers, improve employee productivity and boost revenues by harnessing the power of mobility.
“As we move closer to 2015, we are well-positioned for continued success as we further demonstrate our value proposition and points of differentiation as a company, employer and provider of innovative services,” continued Segura. “We intend to continue to thrive, and stand apart, in an industry that has never been more competitive.”
Hispanic Business magazine’s annual Hispanic Business 100 list recognizes the 100 largest U.S. Hispanic-owned companies ranked by revenue, and replaces the magazine’s Hispanic Business 500 list. To be considered, principals of the company must be U.S. citizens and own 51 percent of the company. Companies must be headquartered in the United States.
